Tommy Gantz, TLG Aerospace and Engineering

Voting Member

Tommy Gantz is the Director of Business Development for TLG Aerospace and Engineering.

She worked for IDD Aerospace (Safran) in Renton in several roles, from contract management to supply chain management. She then worked for Boeing Global Services as a supply chain analyst, supporting the Fleet Care Program for Boeing Global Services. Tommy fostered her experience in customer relations and the aerospace world, managing commercial derivative procurements for the KC-46 and VC-25B. Taking a brief hiatus from aerospace, she then served as the government affairs director for Tax & Fiscal Policy and Manufacturing for the Association of Washington Business. At AWB, she ran several task force efforts and served as the delegate for her CEO on the Department of Commerce Manufacturing Council.

Tommy volunteers as a docent at the Museum of Flight in Tukwila in her spare time. She connects with visitors, shares her passion for aerospace, gives a voice to history, and inspires the next generation of aerospace leaders. Her dedication doesn’t end there; Tommy shares her voice with several organizations throughout the Puget Sound area, representing and advocating for growth and stability in the aerospace industry’s footprint in the Pacific Northwest.

Board Positions

Tommy is a member of the Museum of Flight’s Speaker’s Bureau, Museum of Flight King County Airport Authority Board, Museum of Flight Pathfinders Committee, Museum of Flight Boeing Academy for STEM Education Committee. She serves as the chair of the business development committee for the Aerospace Futures Alliance and is member of the Raisbeck Aviation High School CTE Board.

Of all her volunteer activities, her greatest passion is serving as a Pylon Judge at the Reno Air Races each year since 2009.
